MAC Palette Update + Pigment Review.

Hey lovelies!

Today I bring you an update on the post that I had for my MAC palette that I've been building up. See the first post here. So really, at the point of writing this, I only have 2 extra shadows from MAC that are now in my collection so I thought I'd also give a little mini review of the two pigments I also have!

From left to right: Patina, Mulch, Naked and Vanilla.

It's important to remember that with any pigment, generally, using a base underneath makes it pop a lot more. Anyway, I love the pigments, I reckon there's a massive amount of usage left in them and they are both gorgeous colours. Vanilla is very good for inner corner highlights - especially if you want it quite intense. The two eyeshadows are staples that everyone seems to love so I'm happy I also have them.

Thank you for reading!

Hope you enjoyed :)

REVIEW: Makeup Revolution Highlight Palette in Radiance.

Hey lovelies!

So if you know me personally, you'll know that I am a total highlighter junkie! I am obsessed with dewy, glowing skin and highlights just make my absolute life. It's my favourite part of putting makeup on tbh! So when I seen the Makeup Revolution Radiance palette I jumped right on that, 3 highlighters for 8 pounds seemed pretty amazing to me!

Here it is:

The packaging is very pretty, black and sleek with gold writing - the usual for most Makeup Revolution products. I love their packaging. There's also a massive mirror which is always useful so in the fact this is quite travel friendly I give that an A+. However, here are the swatches of the highlights..

For a total highlighter junkie, these just aren't cutting it for me unfortunately.. I love really, really shimmery - almost making your skin look like it's oily sort of highlights and these just aren't like that. However for your makeup kit or for someone who's new to highlight and wants something subtle, these are perfect.

Overall I'd give them about a 6/10. They are pretty colours, just not out there enough for me. Will continue to use in my kit though!

I hope you enjoyed and thank you for reading!

Everyday Glam Makeup.

Hey there!

I wanted to do a little post on the makeup I do whenever I feel a bit meh, can't be bothered going full on glam but want to look good and lift myself up a little.
It's basically quite glam whilst still being wearable and there's aspects (such as the blinding highlight) that you could leave out to wear everyday to school, work, college etc!

This is the look!

For the face I used:

Illamasqua Skinbase in 5
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla
Anastasia Contour Kit in Light
Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Contour palette in light
MAC Pigment in Vanilla

For the Eyes/Brows/Lips I used:

Anastasia Dipbrow in Dark Brown,
Makeup Revolution Ultra Cover and Conceal palette in light
MAC eyeshadows in Wedge & Concrete
Makeup Geek eyeshadow in Shimma Shimma,
Illamasqua Gel Liner in Infinity
Rimmel Exaggerate Mascara
Illamasqua Lipstick in Box

So, this is the makeup look. I really love it!

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed!

Three Looks Using Morphe 35B Palette.

Hey lovelies!

Just to go along with my review of the Morphe 35B palette, link to that is here.. I thought I'd do a little post on three looks I created using the palette and how diverse it can be! I love colourful looks so this palette is pretty much perfect for me :)

This is using mostly the reds/oranges and just a dash of the pink. I was quite fond of this look actually, kind of like an Anti-Valentines look!

This is my absolute favourite look of the three! If you can't tell, I absolutely love purple (my hair is purple as well) and this look was just perfect! I loved the way it turned out.

This one was also really nice and I liked the way it turned out, spotlight eyes are always a hit or miss for me - and I did actually get a little help on this look to make the inner blue pop by using MAC's Vanilla pigment, but shhh!!

Anyway, this is my three looks using the Morphe 35B palette, which just goes to show all the wonderfully colourful and amazing looks you can get from it!

I hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading :)

REVIEW: Morphe 35B Palette + Swatches.

Hello my lovelies!

I am off to Paris from the 8th - 13th so expect a few posts about that when I'm back! However just to keep things nice and easy I thought I'd set a few of my blog posts on one brand in particular - Morphe. For anyone who doesn't know, Morphe are an American brand and for ages you couldn't get them anywhere in the UK but now, Beauty Bay has come to save us once again and they are available from there. Morphe are known for their eyeshadow palettes containing 35 colours and their brushes but from what I've heard from others, the brand in general is just a complete hit.

Here in this post I'll review the 35B Colour Glam palette. I bought this from Beauty Bay for £15.95. That's what... 45p each shadow? Mental!

Here are the swatches of the shadows row by row (as in 5 at a time):

My fave in these are the yellow and the yellow based gold - the pigment on them is amazing!

As you can see, some of the mattes aren't great but they are definitely buildable and for the price you genuinely can't complain, they're bloody brilliant! I love this palette and I'm dying for more of their palettes. I think Morphe are just very very good value for money so I'm in love tbh!

I hope you enjoyed! Have you tried morphe before? Let me know in the comments what you like!

Thank you for reading!
