Everyday Glam Makeup.

Hey there!

I wanted to do a little post on the makeup I do whenever I feel a bit meh, can't be bothered going full on glam but want to look good and lift myself up a little.
It's basically quite glam whilst still being wearable and there's aspects (such as the blinding highlight) that you could leave out to wear everyday to school, work, college etc!

This is the look!

For the face I used:

Illamasqua Skinbase in 5
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla
Anastasia Contour Kit in Light
Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Contour palette in light
MAC Pigment in Vanilla

For the Eyes/Brows/Lips I used:

Anastasia Dipbrow in Dark Brown,
Makeup Revolution Ultra Cover and Conceal palette in light
MAC eyeshadows in Wedge & Concrete
Makeup Geek eyeshadow in Shimma Shimma,
Illamasqua Gel Liner in Infinity
Rimmel Exaggerate Mascara
Illamasqua Lipstick in Box

So, this is the makeup look. I really love it!

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed!

Three Looks Using Morphe 35B Palette.

Hey lovelies!

Just to go along with my review of the Morphe 35B palette, link to that is here.. I thought I'd do a little post on three looks I created using the palette and how diverse it can be! I love colourful looks so this palette is pretty much perfect for me :)

This is using mostly the reds/oranges and just a dash of the pink. I was quite fond of this look actually, kind of like an Anti-Valentines look!

This is my absolute favourite look of the three! If you can't tell, I absolutely love purple (my hair is purple as well) and this look was just perfect! I loved the way it turned out.

This one was also really nice and I liked the way it turned out, spotlight eyes are always a hit or miss for me - and I did actually get a little help on this look to make the inner blue pop by using MAC's Vanilla pigment, but shhh!!

Anyway, this is my three looks using the Morphe 35B palette, which just goes to show all the wonderfully colourful and amazing looks you can get from it!

I hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading :)

REVIEW: Morphe 35B Palette + Swatches.

Hello my lovelies!

I am off to Paris from the 8th - 13th so expect a few posts about that when I'm back! However just to keep things nice and easy I thought I'd set a few of my blog posts on one brand in particular - Morphe. For anyone who doesn't know, Morphe are an American brand and for ages you couldn't get them anywhere in the UK but now, Beauty Bay has come to save us once again and they are available from there. Morphe are known for their eyeshadow palettes containing 35 colours and their brushes but from what I've heard from others, the brand in general is just a complete hit.

Here in this post I'll review the 35B Colour Glam palette. I bought this from Beauty Bay for £15.95. That's what... 45p each shadow? Mental!

Here are the swatches of the shadows row by row (as in 5 at a time):

My fave in these are the yellow and the yellow based gold - the pigment on them is amazing!

As you can see, some of the mattes aren't great but they are definitely buildable and for the price you genuinely can't complain, they're bloody brilliant! I love this palette and I'm dying for more of their palettes. I think Morphe are just very very good value for money so I'm in love tbh!

I hope you enjoyed! Have you tried morphe before? Let me know in the comments what you like!

Thank you for reading!

Holy Grails: Top 3 Lipsticks.

Hey lovelies!

Another one of my Holy Grail posts! Today I'm bringing you my top 3 holy grail lipsticks!

Here they are:

I'm not really into neutral lipsticks, I am pretty much into just full on colourful or dark lips so here goes!

First up is Cyber by MAC. I love this dark purple colour, it's perfect over the Nightmoth lipliner by MAC and I just love this shade.

Next up is Illamasqua's ESP lipstick!

When my hair was just freshly done this suited my hair almost perfectly which was amazing!! I absolutely loved it! It's a perfect matte finish and lasts really well. Gorgeous on and gorgeous on darker skin tones as well.

Lastly is Jeffree Star's liquid lipstick, a review of which I have here.

This is in the shade Redrum and I'm really sorry about the wonky application but my lips were pretty sore by this point and I just wanted it finished by this point, haha! This is a gorgeous red, matte shade and I absolutely love it!

What are your favourite lipsticks?

Holy Grails: Top 3 Eyeshadows.

Hey lovelies!

Happy April Fools Day! Another one of my Holy Grail posts, this time in the form of eyeshadows. I decided to do this on single eyeshadows only and I'll do another post in the future of my holy grail eyeshadow palettes.

I'll start with my absolute favourite transition colour which is MAC's Wedge:

I love this so much because it's the perfect mixture of warm and cool toned and goes with so many looks it's unreal. If you want to see what other MAC eyeshadows I have check here.

Next up is Makeup Geek's Corrupt:

For like 6 pounds this black eyeshadow is amazing quality and I absolutely love it. There is a serious lacking of good black eyeshadows so I was pretty chuffed to find this one!

Lastly, we have Makeup Geek's Typhoon:

This is one of their duochrome shadows and I absolutely love it, it's perfect in every way, I mean honestly, look at it!! I wish I could wear it all day, every day, tbh.

That's my three holy grail eyeshadows! What are some of yours? Let me know in the comments :)

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed!
