Get to Know Me: Favourite Youtubers.

Hello lovelies!

Today I thought I'd start a little series of posts that's more personal to me, so the beginning of them will be 'Get to Know Me'. I thought to first start these posts off, I'd start with my favourite youtubers!

All but one of these youtubers is beauty/style related just FYI and every photo I have next to them I have just screen-shotted from their Instagrams, which I will leave their handles for next to their name and also a link of my current fave video from their youtube channel for you to have a look at. Makeup That Goes With Any Lipstick.

Hello there lovelies! 

A major part of pulling off crazy lipstick colours (and normal ones) is matching it to the rest of your makeup. So you obviously wouldn't want to go too bold on the eyes because then your lips will look a little bit out of place. Anyway, I've figured out a perfect look that works for any lipstick colour that you'd like to wear!

Personally, I really always like dewy skin with still a pretty full coverage so I always start with that. As for the rest of my makeup to go with any lipstick, generally I just go for some nice, defined brows, a neutral taupe colour in the crease blended quite well with a shimmery shade all over the lid and just a thin(ish) liner with no flick.

Here are a few lipstick colours that this makeup goes with, I took a lot more photos with a lot more lipsticks but it seemed a little bit full of myself haha! Anyway, from left to right: Illamasqua gel liner in Infinity, Velvet Teddy by MAC, Sin by MAC, ESP by Illamasqua, an Urban Decay lipstick (can't remember the name) and Cyber by MAC.

So there you have it, makeup to go with any lip colour!

REVIEW: Makeup Geek Shadows.

Hey lovelies! 

I have lusted after Makeup Geek shadows ever since Marlena (who runs the youtube channel MakeupGeek, funnily enough) announced she was making products! I always admired her makeup and loved her channel so to hear she was making her own products was really exciting! Anyway, I lusted after them for a while, used to go on the MakeupGeek website and put lots of the shadows in my basket and then going against it. I just never wanted to get hit with the customs cost which always seems to happen to me. So, when Beauty Bay announced the arrival of MakeupGeek prodcuts I've never jumped on a website so quick! 

If you've ever ordered from Beauty Bay you'll know their service is amazing etcetc! But here are the shadows I currently own:

From left to right: Corrupt, Bitten, Mesmerized, Typhoon, Peach Smoothie & Shimma Shimma.

Of course I absolutely had to get the cult favourites Peach Smoothie & Corrupt. The rest are all gorgeous and have seemed to make their way into my daily routine. I also use Shimma Shimma as a highlight on the face at times as well, just a tip for anyone!!

Honestly the pigmentation of these eyeshadows is amazing and I was very pleasantly surprised, they are just as good as MAC eyeshadows, if not better, for half the price! Which honestly is amazing. I totally think these are worth the hype, totally worth the money and I think these will be a staple in my makeup collection. Sort of want every single colour they do, haha!

MAC Lip Product Collection + Swatches.

Hey lovelies!
I hope you had a good Valentines, I just thought I'd do a post on my MAC lip product collection since my Illamasqua one went down really well!

I think everyone knows that MAC lipsticks are pretty much a must have, their formula is amazing and they smell amazing (honestly, if you've never had a MAC lipstick, your first one and your first little scent of it is the best thing ever) and I think they're a staple in anyones makeup collection. I, for one, will have many MAC lipsticks throughout my lifetime, that I know haha! Here's some swatches of what I have so far:

From left to right: Nightmoth (lip liner), Hang Up, Velvet Teddy, Russian Red, New York Apple, Sin, Cyber, Amorous, Ruby Woo & Dark Side.

I love all my colours and can't wait to add to my collection, I have a few in mind already! I would have swatched them on the lips but my lips are incredibly dry at the minute so didn't really feel like making it worse and there is so many of them too!
