Citizen M | Jacker de Viande | Hard Rock Cafe | Other news.

Okay lovelies, so to make up for my lack of posts I'm gonna do just a little one of what I've been up to! It was my boyfriend's 21st last week so we spent a few days together, in Citizen M and we went to Jacker de Viande (aka the best burger restaurant EVER) and the Hard Rock Cafe for drinks. Here are some of our photos :) Ps, he's my model for some of these because I look kinda shitty in a lot of them whereas he's like a perfect angel. Ok, enough mush, now enjoy! :)

Okay. So in other news I'm doing a work experience placement - which I'm not particularly enjoying but heyho, it's experience. So I don't have a lot of free time like I used to = hense lack of posting on here. However! It shall be done soon and I will make more of an effort to post at least once a week anyway. I'm also starting avon so should anyone who lives near me want to order anything, I will have info on my blog around Thursday/Friday time to let you know how to order online from me!

My MAC palette (So far)

Hi there lovelies! I'm sorry it's been long time no post but I've been SUPER busy and just couldn't find the time to post anything. I'm sorry. Going to start trying to get into the swing of things with posting at least once a week, I have a good few posts lined up but I also want your suggestions for if there is anything you'd like to see here on my blog! I'd be happy to do it.
Anyway, today's post is gonna be something simple and easy - my MAC palette so far - there's two sides to this palette, each can hold (hold on till I count this.. yes, I'm being serious here) 15 eye shadows - so 30 in total! For just now I've obviously not filled it and I'll do another post when I have but I ain't made of money so no can do for just now.. :p

This is Orb. It's a great colour for all over the eyelid, simple to just throw on as a base or simply to just mattify your lids if you're going to be using something like gel eyeliner or you have oily lids in general and don't particularly like that look.

This is Shroom. It's a beautiful shimmery colour (swatches are in the last photo) it's great for a brow highlight, for in the inner corners or again all over the lid for just a shimmery, beautiful wash of colour.

Next is All That Glitters. A colour I think every girl should own. It's a goldey-pinky colour. I've never seen anything quite like it and I really, really love it. It's perfect for all over the lid too. Use it wet and you won't regret it.

Here is Wedge. My holy grail crease colour. If anything better than this comes along I'll let you know but for now and for the foreseeable future... this is the best crease colour you're ever going to get. EVER. (You need it, go buy it)

This is Satin Taupe. This is perfect for blue and green eyes I'd say. It's just such a beautiful colour.

This is Copperplate, another amazing crease colour. Not quite as good as Wedge, because to me, nothing is, but I do love this.

This is Concrete - if anyone has seen my MOTD posts when my hair colour was a good bit lighter (oh, I forgot to mention, I'm a full on black haired girly now) then you'd recognise this as the product I always listed I used on my eyebrows. It's a perfect brow colour for medium brown hair colours and it's also lovely on the eyes, multi purpose products make my heart and bank account happy :)

This is Plum Dressing. I absolutely love this colour and the payoff with it, it's so so beautiful and I definitely do not regret having it on my Christmas wishlist.

This is Sketch. Such a beautiful colour to have if you're going for a really dark, smokey look but don't want to use black, also great for the inner and outer V of your eyes if you're going for a spotlight eye - Sketch and Plum Dressing are beautiful for that. Love this eyeshadow.

My New Holy Grail Foundation.

Thanks to my wonderful boyfriend, I have fallen in love with this perfect, perfect beauty product.

So if you haven't guessed - this post is about my new "Holy Grail" foundation. For those who may have never seen me without any makeup, my skin is not the best, it's very red in the cheek area, my skin tone uneven and I do get quite spotty. This is Skinbase foundation by Illamasqua (I am in the shade 5) and it covers up EVERYTHING I am insecure about. It's amazing and all I've ever wanted from a foundation.

Illamasqua do a wide range of shades - going from literally white to very very dark. I love this foundation so much that the price (£32) doesn't really bother me. It's a dewy finish and you do have to powder in the centre of the face to save yourself from being a bit too oily but other than that it's perfect and it stays on all day. Doesn't budge. Everything goes on top of it beautifully and I cannot fault it. This will hopefully be my holy grail foundation for a very, very long time. Can't see me changing my mind anyway! :)
